Malas in seeds, olive cores and various woods
The malas are made one by one, preceded with the meticulous sorting of beads, and are assembled with elements (i.e. tassels, filaments)
which complement the materials used.
We have thoroughly researched the filaments used for stringing, as ordinary filaments do not support the beads for a long time. The filaments used are products of high technology, the best on the market, and we braid together threads of different types to obtain the best strength,
resistance and suppleness possible. We will always replace the filaments of a mala, free of charge, should they break withing the three year
guarantee. The photos represent the real mala, meaning the one you will receive.
Each year, after we have finished calculating our income for the preceding year, MÈrite & Patience gives 5% of its earnings to benefit the
meditation retreats of several practicing Buddhists.
