MALAS IN HARD AND SEMI-PRECIOUS STONES

Our stones are bought from reputable suppliers, with particular attention paid to their quality and polish, and we reject any beads of inferior quality. We sometimes use stones which are synthetic or which have been treated for their colour, and, if so, that is indicated in the product description.

The malas are made one by one, preceded with the meticulous sorting of stones, and are assembled with elements (i.e., tassels, filaments) which complement the stones.

We have thouroughly researched the filaments used for stringing, as ordinary filaments do not support the stones for a long time. The filaments used are products of high technology, the best on the market, and we braid together threads of different types to obtain the best strength, resistance and suppleness possible. We will always replace the filaments of a mala, free of charge, should they break within the three year guarantee. The photos represent the real mala, meaning the one you will receive.

Each year, after we have finished calculating our income for the preceding year, Mérite & Patience gives 5% of it's earnings to benefit the meditation retreats of several practicing Buddhists.
